@Isaac Kessler, I've been looking at Union City, Riverdale, and Forest Park to pick up some rentals. What are your thoughts on Union City? Although I am not far from the area, I don't know it well, and that makes me hesitant.

I agree with the others. The liquor store alone should not discourage you from the purchase. Not all liquor stores have unruly customers loitering and causing problems. As Nicole and Colleen said, do a couple of weekend drive-bys at different times if you are available to see what you would be dealing with if you move forward. Now is a good time, as the weather is warming up, and those will are likely to hang out outside of the store will start coming out. Good luck and keep us posted!!

@Tim Lindstrom I felt the same way before I got my first call this week. As the conversation started, I realized that the caller looked at me as someone who could help her, and it put me at ease. Then I also realized that I knew what I was talking about! :) Put yourself out there Tim! It is scary, but I'm sure you'll get comfortable in  no time.
