My tenants just notified me that their unit got broken into and money was stolen. This is a first for me, so I'm not sure whether there's a protocol or this isn't my responsibility. Any advice?

Does anyone have experience investing in international vacation rentals? I'm considering looking at some properties in Western Europe e.g., Portugal, Spain, Italy, etc. and it would be great to connect with someone who has already done this. Curious to hear the good, the bad and the ugly from multiple perspectives.
