@Brian Monga I am, work on SI currently. There's more than I realized in terms of meet ups in Northern NJ so I'm sure we will eventually.

@Brian Monga Welcome Brian! Also an AD guy living in North Jersey and trying around these parts. It seems tough like the guys said but persistence seems to be the name of the game. Maybe we'll meet at a local meet up.

Slightly on topic but I'm working with two realtors but they operate in different counties. I've told both. Is there any conflict here?

@Christopher Prince-Barry Yes so they're all on BP local page. Here's a link to FB group which has one meet up in it. The other I've just seen on here as I have a keyword alert set up. They haven't posted one for October yet. The other two I saw on meetup.com but haven't attended yet.

@Jesse Smith I'm going to give you a different perspective from those on here. Years ago, I was looking for an agent and my old roommate had recently, within the last 6 to8 months, become one.

While I always thought of him as a smart guy, I went with a more experienced and older agent. Years later, he brought this up as kind of like a "why didn't you go with me" sarcastic remark. If I remember correctly, I deflected his comment.

In the end, It just came down to the fact that I feel like I knew him too well and didn't really trust him as an agent. It was just my personal opinion, and as of now he seems to be doing really well on all his Facebook postings for the houses he has for sale. I also believe he is an investor.

The agent I ended up going with was very far removed from my viewpoint of my personal situation. I ended up thoroughly enjoying working with her and used her to sell my house as well. I'm not sure if that helps but that's just my experience within the last 10 years.

@Nathan G. Newbie question but what is sales in regards to a PM company?

@Karri Dick Being in law enforcement for 10 years, I have to agree with some other replies in this thread. While a female by herself might not cause a safety concern, you have no control over her social life and who she might encounter in the dating world (ps- guys are psychos) .

I dealt with a case with one female where she moved to our town to specifically get away from an old co worker who was stalking her 4 states away. He found her anyway and showed up to her place. I dealt with the guy for a time and he even gave me the creeps, which is saying a lot.
