@Neil Wiseman we have two STRs in NMB and use a Arnette Vereen through the Evolve platform.

We have been pleased overall with Arnette‘s service. We’ve used his team for two years (at least).

He’s responsive and we have found him to be honest.

Happy to share his contact if you would like.

Mika,

I live in Mooresville and have for many years. I also have four properties (2 residential and 2 commercial here) on top of our primary residence.

Happy to answer any questions I can for you.

Mark

Quote from @Samantha Ellison:

Hi @Sheina Lassalle, have you thought about the Carolinas?! I think it would be a great spot, I have an STR in Mooresville, on Lake Norman, and a long term in Charleston. We really love the area, but its also all I know!

Love to know where on LKN you are investing. I'm living in Mooresville and would love to invest in a STR here too.

We have a handful of STRs in North Myrtle Beach and Surf City and would love to expand in our home area.

I’m curious if you are buying with partners or solo too. I’d greatly appreciate any info you’d be willing to share.

Silly question, what does ADR mean?

Thanks so much @Bill B. and @Jonathan Greene.  I see your points and now it makes sense.  There does not seem to be a big (if any) upside and tons of downside.  I think we will pass.  Again, I appreciate your experience and council.

@Matthew Crivelli great idea.

We do this with a few beach properties but don’t want to take the time needed to do this local, more buy and hold traditional property.

We want this to be as passive, for us, as possible due to other commitments.
