@Nechole Thompson I am new to wholesaling and looking to jump into the Memphis market. I was hoping to see if you can give any advise on what areas to get into. I am looking for B-class areas.  Thanks again for your help.

I am an investor in Chicago, IL and wanted to start wholesale in another state to get more cash fast since my W2 is not enough with my personal expenses. I was looking into the Memphis area and seeing a lot of houses that are in the market and in the description states "no wholesalers". Can I contact the property owner to try to see if he is willing to change his mind? Since I am new at this I don't want to make an illegal move and screw myself in the long run. Any advise would be great.

Thanks

Hi Rick, thanks for replying back. We love the heat! We are tired of the winters especially Chicago winters.  Maybe I'm not going to get away with the real estate taxes but taxes in general in Chicago is still high.

My wife and I are planning to relocate to San Antonio, TX by 2023 or sooner! We live in Chicago, we are just tired of the weather and high taxes. Time for a change. The plan is to buy a house in San Antonio and have it ready to move out there once we sell our home in Chicago. We are trying to see what type of loan would benefit us.looking for some advice? Thanks in advance.

@Afrothiti Manolis congrats on your purchase! I'm originally from the Humboldt Park area group around North Ave between California and Western Ave. Humboldt Park has come along way. Properties in this area has been going up. Logan Square & Hermosa is also going up in appreciation. There great potential in rent in all 3 areas.

I have found a 2 unit property that is listed for $65K and is a cash deal. The seller does not want FHA loans. I'm leaning towards a private lender but not sure if I could use Private Lenders. Please let me of any suggestions.

Thanks,

Manuel Santiago

Hello John, I'm new to the industry and looking to get started, just don't know how too. I was trying to work with a real estate company but did not work out. Everytime I would try to bring them several lists of properties they kept telling me that those properties would not work for me. I felt like I was getting the run arounds with them and losing my time. I'm trying to network with people out here in the Chicagoland area and came across this meet up. I know due to the Pandemic it's difficult to meet up with anyone now a days. Are you doing any virtual meetings?

Hi James, thanks for sharing your story with us. I am a new investor and looking for multi-family properties in the Chicagoland area. This is very encouraging to hear.

Congrats on reaching your goal! This motivates me more since I'm starting to invest in multi-family properties. I want to start off slow like how you did and want to know the ups and downs in Real Estate.
