Hey James, that actually is my company name, or rather Olive Tree Corporate Rentals is. I didn't see your excellent answer until after I bought the wordpress domain [LINK REMOVED]
I figure most people will be linking to it or favoriting it instead of typing it in. as for SEO, I can do that with backlinks, a blog and other means. My town doesn't have much in the way of corporate rentals and I figured a straightforward url would be effective. I'd like your opinion on that.

Thanks!

I'm pretty happy with Weebly's look and functionality so far but the look seems just a little dated and the load times are slow. I'm vetting other solutions including some paid wordpress themes.

I will definitely switch is it proves to be just as easy to put in widgets via HTML. I want my site to be my customers one stop shop for showings, applications, lease signings, payment and reporting maintenance needs. So far its most of that. Just a little but further to go.

Thanks everyone for the input.

PS: I'm also thinking of changing the name because that is a cumbersome URL. any suggestions?

Deanna,

Sorry for the delay in replying. My experience with Weebly has been great. I plan to give them some feedback and see if they respond. Quick question, do you know if there is a way I can incorporate a lease into my website and have them e sign it. I'm wanting to automate as much of the property management as possible since I live 2,500 miles away from the property. Btw I'm a huge fan of rent monitor! If and when I go with PM software it will be yours!

Hey everybody,

I have corporate rentals and I need an affordable solution just to display pictures and amenities with a webform that enables prospects to enter relevant info.

Any ideas?

Hi guys!

I have a 3 unit apartment building. Currently doing corporate rentals with the bottom two.

Its an older home, brick, but no insulation between the bottom and top and none in the walls.

Thought about applying insulation but even DIY foam kits are cost prohibitive and the coverage is iffy anyway because you can't really see what your doing.

There is duct work under the house. Currently one package unit handles both apartments, a throwback to when it was one apartment before I split the bottom into two equal sized units.

Corporate tenants expect good things, so I have to give them separate control, which either means adding another package unit and splitting the old rusting ductwork, or putting in a mini split system, which I figure will be more efficient

I guess my question is, in a house with not much insulation, would a mini split more efficient than a package unit for a person like me who is paying all the bills?

That's pretty remarkable. I've seen some of the discussions on here regarding the rust belt. Sounds like I wouldn't even have to come there to live.

My wife is a travel nurse whose current contract ends in May. I have 17k in liquid capital for my next investment, or investments, so there is a very real possibility that we may base where we go next on real estate investing. Given that situation (unlimited mobility and limited funds) Where would you go and what would you do? I've though about rehabbing an selling, or movIng to whatever area of the country is the absolute most conducive to aquiring properties with a buy and hold strategy in mind. What would you do given this REI dream scenario?

I was wondering how that works. Do agents have flat fees for running reports? Can they allow you to access the information in their office? I'm thinking of doing a rehab next but I'm not inclined to unless I've researched thoroughly!

Thanks
