Is there any way I can get MLS access for research?

I was wondering how that works. Do agents have flat fees for running reports? Can they allow you to access the information in their office? I'm thinking of doing a rehab next but I'm not inclined to unless I've researched thoroughly!

Thanks

Where Jason used the term "illegal" in that post above, I think a better choice of terms would be: "not permitted under the rules of the MLS, and could result in the agent losing their access to the MLS". I don't think anybody's going to be arrested if an agent shares their MLS access with anybody.
