Hi Caleb,

Thank you for your reply. Why would I need more money for out of state if I am entering a fairly cheaper market then the Bay Area. Is that because of taxes and things of that sort. Is an REIT a property that need to be fixed?

Hello All,

My name is Makala and I am very eager to buy my first property. I have spent months trying to gather as much information as possible, but it seems as though the learning for Real Estate is never ending, which is wonderful. I currently have $5,000 to work with as a start and was wondering if it is even possible to do anything with such a low number? Investing the the Bay Area is so expensive, should I consider looking out of state?

Hello All,

I am eagerly trying to buy my first home and living in the Bay Area has not made it an easy process. I was wondering if anyone knew of the best top 5 states and/or cities to look into purchasing my first home. Any feedback is good feedback and greatly appreciated.

Hello Andrew,

Whew, yes that was a ton of information but I appreciate every bit of it. Thank you for taking the time to reach out to me, I will consider all of this when making my final decision.

Hey Brandon,

Thank you so much for your input, it's greatly appreciated.

Hello All,

My name is Makala Lee-Norwood and I am super new to the Real Estate industry. I am looking to purshase my first multi-family home and would like to get an FHA loan to help me get started. I thought I would reach out to you all and see your opinion on whether to go to a bank to inquire about the FHA loan or go through a mortgage or bank broker. I appreciate all the feedback I can get.

Sincerely, Makala Lee-Norwood

Hello Mr. Okenwa,

Thank you so much for replying to my post and giving me a bit of insight on better ways to get help as well as help myself. I am still figuring out how to exactly maneuver this site and involve myself in the conversations. I have been watching a good amount of Podcast to get myself familiar with certain topics and the language. I will take your advice on purchasing a book or two to gain more insight and knowledge.

I've been trying to self educate myself tremendously on Multifamily properties as well as places that can qualify for a FHA loan. Moving forward I will ask more specific direct questions. Thank you again for your input.

Makala

Hello All,

My name is Makala and I am writing this post today to seek out some insight from a knowledgeable and well rounded individual who has a passion for teaching/ helping others.  I currently live in Marin County and would love to find a place a can both live in and also rent out, a multifamily unit. If anyone is available or interested in giving me some insight just on the overall real estate industry. Or if anyone knows of any multi family unit available to buy to live in and also rent out. I appreciate all the help and insight I can get, no matter how big or small. Thank you in advance.

Sincerely,

Makala Lee
