Hello All,

My name is Makala and I am writing this post today to seek out some insight from a knowledgeable and well rounded individual who has a passion for teaching/ helping others.  I currently live in Marin County and would love to find a place a can both live in and also rent out, a multifamily unit. If anyone is available or interested in giving me some insight just on the overall real estate industry. Or if anyone knows of any multi family unit available to buy to live in and also rent out. I appreciate all the help and insight I can get, no matter how big or small. Thank you in advance.

Sincerely,

Makala Lee

Your best bet is to get into the forums, ask questions, and do searches for topics you're interested in learning more about. Watch podcasts and buy books as well on whatever strategy you are trying to implement (Just about any BP book will get you going in the right direction).

Just asking for general knowledge may not get you the responses you are seeking as people here are more than willing to help, but you may need to be more specific on what it is you are trying to learn. Giving tips/advice/pointers is one thing, but you have to meet people here half-way and not expect them to give you a full education on real estate. Begin with self-education and ask specific questions along the way to fill any gaps in knowledge. Good luck.
