Hey guys!

So not sure if this is in a current thread but my parents are looking to retire soon and I just wanted to see if investing into a rental property would be possible. So currently they live in a home in California and looking to sell wihtin 3-5 years. I would like for my dad to purchase a triplex or duplex but also live in one of the units and collect rent as well. I'm trying to plan their retirement as they haven't figured much of that out and I think it would be a great idea for him to use the VA loan benefit to purchase a property under his name and I would be paying the mortgage eventually. Is this something that could be possible? Does anyone have experience in this? Thanks!

Who here is getting their license in South Florida? I'm working on getting my license here in Fort Lauderdale since I have relocated from Los Angeles and will pursue my first investments here as well as becoming an agent! I would love to connect with you if you're on your path to RE freedom and are working out here! Thanks!

Hello! Currently I reside in California relocating to Fort Lauderdale. How is the market in that area for rental properties? I've been on "planning mode" and want to purchase my first property out there. Any suggestions on multi family buildings? I don't have any savings towards it but will be getting a job so that I can save for a future loan. What do you suggest? Thanks!

Hello!

I'm looking for a local mentor in the Los Angeles area to help guide me in starting out in buy/hold properties. I'm looking for long term wealth so any advice in trying to purchase my first property and financial strategies to get this going would be perfect especially out of state investing. Looking for a seasoned mentor and since I am in the property management field I can assist with social media, emails, advice on following up with tenants etc.

Thank you!

Hello!

I have decided to seek a partner from out of state to invest in apartment rentals since Los Angeles is a high market. What steps should I take to find someone who is reliable? I have not chosen a city yet from out of state to invest since I'm not quite sure on how to find places that will give a good ROI.
