I did uber for 3 month (usually n the mornings ) to pick up some extra cash. I had business card , flyers all over( cup holders, door panels etc ) . That leads me to 3 sales , just let the conversation flow , when they see your business cards and flyer some of your riders will engage some type of conversation that's when your sales skills come to play.

I did most of the work myself. not city approved but  I rented to my family .

 Dig like 4 inch to have enough height . I pour and plaster walls and floors with cement, I paid my buddy 2000 for plumbing and electrical .

The framing, sheetrock ,flooring , bigger windows, cabinets and paint I did it myself.

also did a ceramic stand up shower. 2 bedrooms , 1 bath .
