Not necessarily. A young entrepreneur who is smart and humble, think personalities like Jake Fromm and Aaron judge, with a wise mentor will succeed. The old saying two minds are better than one comes to mind. I feel young me with my mentor will definitely be better than me by myself in a decade or two

@Victoria Coleman  buy a property with separate utilities.  house hack it (live in one unit) which will allow you or your significant other to plow it.  Make sure you have good insurance too!  Good luck.  From CT/MA so used to cold harsh winters too.

Offer them equity stake in your deals.  a % of appreciation profits and cash flow; and of course give them the original investment back.  Good luck
