Welcome to BP! In addition to attending the local REIA's the "Network" tab at the top may allow you find some BPer's in your area that could use a bird dog. Hope this this helps!

That's a great idea!  I'm a newbie and was trying to think of a good way to do this, but I like that idea.  Although, I do have one question for you, do you typically meet with them during the week or on the weekend?  I ask because I have a typical 9-5 and I would have to meet them outside of "normal" business hours.

Hi, a friend of mine recently told me that to get an FHA loan on a property, the property needs to be FHA approved. It is the first time I have heard of it, but I had been under the impression that as long I was qualified to purchase a property of a certain dollar value; and live in it for at least 1 year I could purchase any property I wanted to with an FHA loan. Does anyone know about this? Thanks
