I am purchasing my first deal and the closing is on Friday. I am buying the property from a person who was losing it for not paying his taxes. I offered him that he would net $4500 and I would pay all the back taxes and closing fees. I am short $1500 to cover all the closing fees and back taxes and I spoke with the seller and he will allow me to prepare a separate agreement between me and him for me to pay him the $1500 in 5 monthly installments of $300. So he will net $3000 at closing. Does anyone have a document I can use for this type of agreement?

I'm an appraiser & also a realtor & here in my market buyers do pay to cover the difference between the purchase price & appraised value. My last 2 deals one paid $1,000 over & the other one the buyer paid $6,000 over. You also have the option if you find better comps or any discrepancies in the appraisal to submit a rebuttal to the lender & have the appraiser review, it doesnt always work but I have had situations where the appraiser missed something that I pointed out or better comps & he revised the report & changed the value on the report.

Hello, I am an appraiser in the South Florida market area but i recommend you going to the appraisal institute website & locating an appraiser. Hello, I am considering purchasing a rental property in the reading, PA market area. I was there a couple of weeks ago visiting family. I would like to know if anyone knows anything about this market area. I know there probably isnt many jobs in the area and I did notice alot of for sale signs in the area so there is an oversupply. I am an appraiser in the south florida market area. I am trying to pick up a property cheap at the county tax sale and rent it.
