Congrats!  @John Rankin! Thanks for sharing and breaking it down. It looks like your deal was not a home run, but a grand slam! Really enjoyed reading your "Lessons Learned" section.

Hi BP Community!

I am a Property Manager/Broker in Indy and am currently looking for quality handymen/maintenance workers. We have rentals around the Indy area and are looking for additional boots on the ground that can help with a variety of maintenance work.

If you have any suggestions or know of anybody, please reach out! I am also happy to hear where you found your own handymen or contractors, whether that be part-time/full-time.

Thank you!

@Damon Cameron Jr I would recommend reaching out to NorthPointe Bank, they are located near the Keystone Fashion mall in Indianapolis. I can give you a specific contact to reach out to if you would like. Best of luck!

Post: Water bill is very high and no visible leaks

I am in Indianapolis and I had the same thing when I first bought my home. I still hadn't even moved in yet and had my water/sewer bill at over 19.9CCF, which is way too high, especially for no one living there. It was the toilet that was constantly running. I replaced the fill valve and another small part and it was fixed. You often can get a credit with the water company if you can prove it is a leaky toilet as well. Hope this helps!

@Dave E. If you are a Simon fan, you will enjoy it! It definitely has a few slow parts but some of the stories will stick with you plus give you new perspectives. Let me know if you get a chance to start the book or need a copy. I always love talking books with others!
