Storm,

Thanks for hanging with me - it was fun and enlightening! I'm inspired and impressed with your companies work. I am heading in that direction and it's good to see people whop are actually flipping in my back yard! Laurie

Thanks Greg,

LOL! You and I think alike. As a pro dancer (also) I would be a good choice for an HGTV show, having lived my life as an entertainer - (want to be my agent?), so maybe I'll do this once I start actually flipping!

Meanwhile, I would prefer to stay here and work in my own back yard, but, cannot find a property in SB with an ARV that makes sense. I'm going to keep trying, but, at some point I have to start and get going! Your encouragement is appreciated:)

I am a new agent in Santa Barbara and want to flip properties. It's not going to happen here, or anywhere on the west coast, where the medium price for a dump is $900,000. Yet, BP Pod-caster, Brandon Turner, promulgates jumping in right away and not letting fear/lack of money stop you. All the wise and experienced investors I've read advise the opposite - don't flip remotely! So, I see no other (smart) choice but to go outside my area, and have decided to live in an RV and flip houses in other areas. In other words, become a gypsy flipper. Has anyone lived in an RV, traveling from area-to-area, building competent teams and flipping with O.P.M, (Other Peoples Money)?

So cool...wish we had property that cheap in Santa Barbara. The lowest cost dump is around $800,000.00 LOL - congratulations! ~ Laurie Alexander, Realtor, Keller Williams, Santa Barbara

Ew - that is risky - especially if you have never flipped and know nada about rehabbing or investing in real estate! Plus! You are cutting into your profit.....I don't see how this could work well.

I am a renter in Santa Barbara, CA. I have never paid the water bill. That is because the landlord wants the option of shutting the water off should the tenant refuse to vacate when given notice. Just a thought:)

Hello Jose,

It is nice to meet you:) Welcome (home/back?) from San Felipe!

I think the reason that we have not met is that I have not actively invested in RE until now. So, I am just starting.

I am planning a trip to TS in August to look at property for my family. I will message you so that we can meet up for coffee, perhaps? Thank you,

Alexandra King

Hello Mary and other Mexico Investors,

Has anyone invested in property in Todos Santos? I'm considering moving there and would like to purchase a SFR on or near the beach and perhaps another for investment.

Thank you,

Alexandra

Hi Again Mike, FYI, I know this area like the back of my hand. I would be happy to help (a fellow) investor find investment property. I'll be here if/when you want to search.  Alexandra

Hi Mike, I live in Sta. Barbara in a great neighborhood. There are lots of fixer-upper bunglows (SFR) in this area and investors are coming in from all over to get one. It's a perfect "worst-house-in-the-best-neighborhood"scenario. If you'd like I'd be happy to talk to you. Laurie Alexander
