I would NEVER pay contractor by hr again.  I will instead do it in draws per work  completion. 

I will also take the great advice I got here and hold onto some of the $ to assure the completed job is 100:/ satisfactory.

I have come across 5 contractors 

That are DEF. Not recommended.

The worst #1 I will name from 

C P/valpo area is Jeremy Roberts 

Rip off king . I D k if he is even out of  jail . Think he was in for unemployement fraud. Had a partners (receiving unemployment),who  he paid under the table .

I do not no if you named the  company, that ripped you off, but i received this, a few days ago. APPARENTLY, Lawyers are going after these GURU 's. because students are getting together and speaking up. 

Did you pay by credit Card. file a dispute . They will fight for you . 

If you got contact info for some of the other people  in the class? contact them. COMPARE NOTES and Get as much info as you can from them.

Basically  He/They over see  the  whole project. including the renovation ( there contractors ,etc) and the  property management  after completion. You are responsible for financing the project.  I guess would be like buying a turn key property, with owner financing ? The idea is to help new investors. but if they do project, how are you going to get any benefits. What knowledge are you really getting ?
