Hi BP,

Hoping you can help me out. My architect doesn't want to take on drawings that increase the footprint of the house or go up in levels. The permit process in DC has gotten longer with additions.

I'm looking for a 1 man show or small shop that can complete all the drawings (demo, electrical, plumbing, mechanical and structural). They need to be able to obtain an engineer stamp of approval when required. I need someone who is well versed in the permit process.

Hello, so I've been flipping for almost 10 years now and I'm getting a bit tired so I'm going to do less deals and focus on wholesaling in Raleigh, NC. My question for you rehabbers is what areas in Raleigh are you interested in so I know where to focus.

I've been to the REIA in Hagerstown and made some good connections. I would suggest checking them out and you might meet a good contractor. Good luck! oh, it's called Hub City REIA

Hi,

I would suggest going to the local REIA's because sometimes they have speakers whose niche is wholesaling. Not sure how far you are from Hagerstown but their REIA will have Chris Clothier speaking next month. I plan on checking it out.

Best of luck!

Hi, I've been investing in real estate for 7 years now and I like attending the local REIA's and meetups. Not sure how far you are from Hagerstown but they have a good REIA and next month I was told they have Chris Clothier speaking. I might have to make that trip :)

Best of luck!

Hi @Heather Hartsock, welcome. I'm not sure which investing group you found in Hagerstown but I did attend the Hub City REIA group. They meet the 1st Thursday of each month and have different speakers discussing different topics. I would suggest getting there early because the networking portion was really helpful.
