@Michael Kunis

Hi Michael,

I am also from NYC. Yeah our prices suck here. I just acquired a great deal using David Ribardo he’s an investor friendly agent that knows the Lehigh valley area well. He’s on BP and can help you out. That goes for anyone else here hope it helps.

@Nicholas Standford

No FN Way!

That’s absurd truth of the matter is they aren’t that difficult to install yourself. you should’ve asked the salesperson for a glass of Orange juice with that price and season tickets to the Yankees! Some people are High.

Definately check out the box stores like the other Members on here have suggested they have decent selections and for standard Vinhal windows you should be able to get a good product at a fair price.

@Nicholas Standford

Hi Nicholas,

I wound up using Windowrama on my 2 family to replace all of the windows here in queens. I will tell you this much

Do not install Casement windows They Suck! Go with double hung and insulated windows. crystal windows has good stuff down here in the city, but I’m sure you’ll be able to find a good manufacturer upstate. Anderson are very good as well. And as far as the quotes it’s like any other contractor go with a reputable one don’t get a guy to rig them as they are an expensive job and you’ll want them installed right. I’d ask in a window place if they can reccomend a reputable Contractor. Hope it helps.

Great Thread, and a Happy Newyear to everyone on here! Geez my dresser is full right now. Ive been upping my reading game this year and find myself into 2-3 books at a time! Just finished Matt Faircloths book Raising Private Capital Very good read! Very practical stuff to help structure Deals. I will read it again to solidify the concepts more deeply. Im Currently reading The Book on flipping houses which I think is a great read as well. I Just read the E-Myth which was really cool. As well as Cashflow Quadrent. Apart from those Im reading Lord of the Rings and cant wait to start Game of thrones. I also just read Papillon and the worlds most Dangerous places! I keep pressing buy with one click on Amazon! Lol.

@Tyler Labelle

Im a Huge fan of mini splits.

I personaly use fujitsu. I have them in our Duplex I installed them with my Cousin. They also have supplemental heat which is great incase you loose a boiler. Added Layer of protection. Plus they are extremely quiet and energy efficient. I highly reccomend installing them.

@Jaysen Medhurst

Hey Bro,

I installed fujitsu MiniSplits in my Duplex! You have multiple options on the configuartions. They are 220V/ 30amps each. Hope this helps. You need to do a BTU Calculation Based on square Footage etc.

Best,

Lewis.
