My father in law passed away recently and my mother in law keeps getting direct mail offers to buy the house. Specifically stating “sorry for your loss” Is this acceptable??? I love real estate and creative sourcing, but if you are doing this right after a loved one passes away I feel like that it very low. It’s almost shameful and appalling. I will definitely not be finding my deals like this.

@Dan Heuschele That is very good information to know, thank you. Just starting out in my journey I sometimes get overwhelmed with all the new information, need to jot this one down. Another reason my friend was asking is because his wife has a property that they are going to sell also, he figured find someone to help with both issues.

@Bonnie Williams thanks for the reply.. im sort of familiar with the costs and pros and cons. Im more wondering what people would do. Assuming you could get a mortgage on the house would it be worth it to "you" or just save up again to continue onto the next.

If you purchased a house cash for 20k, put 15k into rehab with an ARV of 75k would you BRRRR? Im wondering if having no loan on the property is worth more than smaller cash flow and potentially doing it all over again.
