Has anyone who invested in non performing notes at Prereo actually been paid after selling the property? I sold a property on June 2nd and still have not received any funds. My account manager has basically gone silent. It’s concerning as I have a lot of money tied up in this. @Jorge Newbery

I believe they are having a conference call today about this site. Regarding not being paid, have you contacted them?

And yes, I have contacted several people including emailing Jorge and have not heard anything back regarding a date.

I am looking at buying a non performing note in Florida. There is what looks to be a property tax lien as well as a "Final Judgement" of $20K by a credit union. I am assuming that is a personal loan or maybe a second mortgage. In Florida, would I have to pay off the Credit Union judgement or would that be wiped away by the foreclosure? I am assuming the property tax liens would have to be paid.

Thanks for any advice!

@Mike Parlante Hi Mike, I invest in Atlantic City as well. Many banks don't want to lend in AC for a whole host of reasons. I would talk to local banks first, but just buyer beware.

I use TD Bank. I find the process is a little manual on their part but have not had any issues. Just ask for tenant accounts. They can sync each account into one main account. Good luck.

I have worked with Billy Sternberg on a renovation in Atlantic City. He was recommended to me by my agent who I trusted. Billy does really good work and is professional. I am sure he has experience with the mortgage process as well. Give him a call or message me for his number.

@Martin Woll For a lease, you don't need an attorney. If you use an agent, they will have proven contracts. Biggerpockets also has sample real estate contracts as well. Just make sure you vet your tenant well!
