TD Bank jerked me around for 3 months on a HELOC before denying me and in my opinion were completely inept. I couldn't get any information out of anyone and to actually had to go into a branch on 3 separate occasions to get a banker to push on the loan processors to respond to my emails. The appraisal they ordered showed 200k in equity, plenty on income on my 1040, and they wasted 90 days of my time just to get denied. I called up my local credit union, Jeanne D'Arc (they're awesome), and had an 80k HELOC approve and set up in under 10 days. I would never go back to TD Bank ever again.
