@Steve Vaughan

Wow thanks for the tips and encouragement!  That program sounds like what i would like to set up in our area.

Would it be possible for me to get in touch with your coordinator?  I would love to get info from him and see more on how the background worked for him.

I am starting up a real-estate meetup in Billings, Mt targeting new/beginner real-estate investors helping them take their next steps!

With that said what would be most helpful for you as an investor (experienced people please help me out too)

A. Clear and professional teaching

B. Ability to "Pick the Brain" of a more successful investor

C. Relaxed Hang out time with no agenda (creating real friendship)

D. Accountability and Goal setting

E.  Something else?  (coffee/doughnuts)

What do you Want/Like most in a real-estate Meetup?

@Jim K.

I would take the 23 and subtract 7 and then multiply by 4 to get the approximate square footage of my yards seasonal rain fall in the post monsoon quadrant...

But on a more serious note I would just take out my phone and use the calculator. Cuz I HATE math...

@Manda Gouvion

Each person will have a different answer to this question based on where they are at with their PERSONAL finances.

But I think way more people error on the side of learning and researching way to much. Rather than taking imidiate action on solid/proven methods.

Depending on where you are at in life I would always start with House hacking. Get 3 books on the topic. Read them in 2 weeks and then buy a house hack.

Next would be with flipping or BRRRR. Depending on goals and income needs.

I didn't know about bigger Pockets when I started and had no outside info untill property #3 was bought. I would recommend learning as much as possible AS you take action. Not AFTER you take action.

@Stanislav Sagan

Well I'm proud of you for showing discipline in the face of a consumer credit crazy culture. You are a rare smart 20 year old.

However, just because people go crazy with consumer goods and their credit cards, does NOT mean that credit is a bad thing. I would really encourage you to read Rich Dad, Poor Dad. It will help you understand this concept better.

To answer your question though. There are a few ways you can get into realestate world without credit or money. But all of them will be jobs and not really investing.

1. Get your licence and sell realeste

2. Inspection bizness

3. Work for another investor

4. Tons of other ideas...

56. Wholesaling...

I hate wholesaling for newbies...
