@Lane Kawaoka I have heard that this area is good but I was saying earlier I don't know if its my lack of skills or knowledge but I just can't seem to break through.

@Robert S. That's awesome man. I really don't know if its my lack of skills finding property or a low supply. I really have never seen anything in Chapel Hill. I stopped looking to be honest. I can't seem to break through the barrier of finding my first flip. I did notice that you were talking about rentals in this area though. I actually own a Duplex in Chapel Hill. I paid too much for it though. Do you have any tips for finding properties? I could use any help.

Sorry for taking so long to respond a lot has been going on.

@Jessica Zolotorofe. I will definitely keep you in mind when I consider New Jersey. Not flying in would be a huge plus for me.

@Jamal L. I would love to pick your brain about Baltimore one day. I do have a friend/partner in that area but he is new as well. If we could link up with somebody that's doing it already that would be great.

I live in NC. I was wonder how to find a list of wholesalers that may have properties in my area. I haven't had much luck looking online. I may not even know what to type in to search for them.

Awesome information @Jessica Zolotorofe. I really appreciate it. I will definitely message you if I need more information. Maybe I'll even try investing in New Jersey. I'm looking into investing in Baltimore right now though. North Carolina doesn't have a strong supply currently.

One quick question though. How do you feel about having somebody else be your feet on the ground? I just go up for the Closing. Is this something you would put into someone elses hands?

I would love to hear from someone who invest outside of that state they live in. I want to know what new things do you have to consider when investing out of state. I am more focused in on Flips right now but I would like to hear from investors in Flips and Rentals

Ahh Man thanks @Christopher Phillips.....I was under the impression that everything from the MLS automatically goes to Zillow. I think I am going to go the multiple source route myself. You are very helpful thanks man.

Thanks for the reply @Christopher Phillips. I noticed you said investors do A combination of things. I have heard from others that doing a combination actually hurts and its better to master one strategy. What would you tell people that make that argument?

Also I hear that a lot of investor find off market properties. Do you know anything about that?

I would love to hear personal experience of flippers regarding how they find most of their properties. Does anybody use Zillow or and other website. Is there to much competition on sites like that. I honestly am having no luck. I need a boost.
