Hello Fellow Wholesalers,

I'm posting this specifically to wholesalers in Austin, TX but, other wholesalers please feel free to respond! I'm a newbie wholesaler in Austin, TX and I'm looking for title companies in Austin who work with wholesalers, can I get suggestions from my fellow Austinite  wholesalers?

Thank you

Thank you everyone for your informative responses. I'm still wondering, if I find a title company here in Austin, TX who's not afraid of working with wholesalers and understands contract assignments, do I pay them upfront or do they get paid after the deal's done?

Thank you,

Maxine

Hello, I'm a complete newbie to Wholesaling so my question(s) is this...if I find a motivated seller...all the numbers add up regarding ARV and etc., the seller accepts my offer, assuming I'm not using any of my money, and I'm assigning the contract, is it my responsibility to find the title company or is it the buyer who accepts my offer? If this is on me, wouldn't the title company want their money upfront which defeats the purpose of "Not using your own money in wholesaling".

Thank you very much Dennis. I'm mulling it over precisely because of the Cash Buyers list that's offered.

I know this has nothing to do with the site and the sellers/wholesalers put up the ARV. But they are comical. At best they are cherry picked, more commonly they are too far away or too long ago or simply unrelated property (comping a 1921 bungalow with a 2003 condo). A couple of the comps were just totally invented. (verified by public records)

I guess they assume no one really checks, I don't know.

I found no deal even remotely worth looking at so far, but I'll keep checking.

Hello Eric,

I know this post is nearly 5 years old but, I'm wondering if you're still a member and if you ever found any deals on the site?

Thank you,

Maxine

Hello Dennis,

If you were wholesaling would you use them? I'm familiar with the site, never used them. Have you had success in your dealings with them...are you a member...would you recommend them?

Thank you,

Maxine

Hello Everyone,

My name is Maxine Hough and I'm a new member from the awesome city of Austin, TX. I've spent the past several months or so researching and educating myself in everything regarding wholesale Real Estate. I came across BiggerPockets sometime ago and finally decided to introduce myself.

I'm extremely interested and excited about the idea of wholesale real estate. I am working a J-O-B but, I'd like to change that and I believe wholesaling can be just the ticket to financial freedom!  I am looking for a mentor in the Austin, TX area. I'm a hard worker, I'm eager to learn, and willing to find and bring to the table deals I could split with my mentor.

I absolutely LOVE this site and I'm looking forward to making connections, contributing to the community, and a long relationship with BiggerPockets.

Thank you,

Maxine Hough

Post: Phill Groves The Wealthy Finder Program

Hello,

I received an email from Phill Groves and Michael Kimble regarding Phill's The Wealthy Finder program. It's about getting paid finder's fees for bringing buyers and sellers of real estate together. This has been something I've been interested in but, I don't know anything about Phill Groves and I just want to make I'm not wasting time or money on something that's just a scam. I noticed that when I closed the page, I was redirected to another page where the program price is reduced from $99 to $69 which makes me wonder if there's an expensive upsell later on. Has anyone out there trained under this guy or purchased any of his products? Have you had any success? I would greatly appreciate any feedback before making a decision to purchase the program.

Thank you
