Hi all, are turnkeys good starter investments? I have no experience in real estate investments and not much money at this point. While Id like to get into mobile home parks eventually, I don't have the money right now and am thinking turnkeys might be a good way to get my feet wet. Id like to use them as short-term rentals but don't know if thats possible.

Thank you so much @Joseph Palmiero! My biggest concern was not being able to find any parks for sale. These sound like great resources and that I will definitely utilize once i start looking!

Thanks @Armando Carrera! This is great advice. I think I am going to look for an established park and get my feet wet that way. You said parks are expensive to purchase? I havent done much research yet, I am trying to educate myself on investing before jumping in, but I wonder if they are expensive everywhere, oh expensive just in Cali (like everything else, lol).

Hi @Joseph Palmiero. Yes I'm thinking an existing park would be my best option. If you don't mind me asking, how difficult was it for you to find a park for sale?

@Jordan Moorhead I'm in the Houston area and I haven't looked much yet so don't know if there are many parks here already.

Hi all! I recently made the decision to start investing in properties, and i'm thinking mobile home parks might be a good option for me. Is this difficult to get into? If I decide buy my own land, will it be difficult to get approval from the city to make it a mobile home park?
