This meetup is for anyone interested in networking with other Multifamily/Apartment Real Estate Investors. The format will be an open round table discussion where each person will be able to ask/answer the following questions to the group. The goal is to add value to each and every person and to help with any needs/issues they may be having in Real Estate at the current moment. -GOALS - What are you doing right now that will move you forward in the next 30 days? -RECOGNITION - Describe what you accomplished personally, or in your business, this week. -NEEDS/WANTS - Ask for anything you need. For example, "I need to find a good CPA or Property Management Company" or "I am looking for a deal with this criteria" -OPPORTUNITIES - If you have a deal or an opportunity for the group you can let everyone know about it and see if anyone would be interested in hearing more or even partnering with you on the deal. This group is specific to Multifamily investing and those who want to connect with other like-minded individuals in this space! This meetup will be hosted every 1st Wednesday of the month (with some exceptions that will be noted) at the TGI Fridays located at 12721 Towne Center Drive, Cerritos, CA 90703.

@Jordan Pothier if you want to feel comfortable there is no replacement for taking action and making those calls.  If you don't want to ruin your credibility in the market that you are planning on investing in, try making calls in a market you know you are not going to invest in for practice.   Once you feel comfortable you can now make those calls and be confident in your own market.  Good luck!

@Brandon Malbrough Hi Brandon, you can always check the events page on Bigger Pockets and look for any meetups in your area.  If there are none then I am certain there are people just like you in your area looking to connect so you should try starting your own meetup.  You can use meetup.com and post on BP, you would be shocked at how many people are looking for the same thing.  Good luck!

@Rudy Avila hi Rudy, it’s ok to show up a little late. This is a roundtable discussion and you can hop in when you get there. Looking forward to meeting you!

@Dayton Komarek

1. Educate yourself and choose a specific niche in the industry (you're off to a great start by being on BP!)

2. Set specific goals both short term and long term

3. Find a mentor that has succeeded in the niche you have chosen

4. Take action!

Thanks,

Hi @Kevin Serna I host a meetup in the Long Beach area that is every second Tuesday of the month. If you are interested you can PM me for more info. I would also go to the events page on BP where you can find all types of events. There are local REIA's that you can find by just googling them as well. Hope this helps!

Hi everyone,

I will be in town on Thursday, November 29 to take a look at some properties and I am looking to connect with some local investors.  I was hoping to get a group of 5 or 10 people to meet at a restaurant or bar between 5 and 7pm.  Please let me know if you're interested.

Thanks,

Kyle
