Should I Get My Real Estate License to Invest in Real Estate?

I have asked this to myself and had this question asked from others more times than I can count. How about getting the answer from an actual realtor who is killing it as an investor at the same time!?!

Join us on Wednesday night May 15th to get the real answers from a top-notch realtor, Bryan Gibson, as he talks about being both a realtor and a real estate investor. What works, what doesn't, when does it makes sense to get your license, and how to make the most profitable decisions for your business!

Pizza Cottage

2223 West Fair Ave Lancaster, Ohio.

Come at 6:00 to network and eat. Introductions, buy and sell, and everything else real estate starts at 6:30.

@Stephen Richerson I live and invest in Ohio but am looking to possibly relocate to S.C. in the next few years.  My family and I will be visiting the Charleston area in May and I would like to hit some meet ups while I'm there and do some networking with local investors.

Ever want to ask a real estate attorney, who actually owns real estate, questions without getting charged an arm and a leg for their time?  This is your chance!  This month we have a special guest speaker, Josh DiYanni, who is just that!

Josh serves small and mid-sized businesses in such areas of corporate law as formation, contracts, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions and succession planning. He also specializes in corporate real estate transactions, serving builders, developers, investors, property owners and more.  And he has agreed to come, share, and take questions free of charge!

So come on Wednesday April 17th at 6pm ready to take some notes and network with other like minded investors.

This is a networking opportunity for local investors, lenders, wholesalers, and such. Have a property to sell, looking to buy, or just want to learn then come to check us out.

Have you ever stopped to think that McDonald's is a multi-billion dollar company that is run primarily on the backs of unskilled labor? McDonald's is able to do this because they have implemented and streamlined their processes. A process is KEY to running nearly every business!!

This Wednesday, March 20th at 6 pm, CJ Estel will be speaking on the processes he uses in his own real estate ventures as well as the technology he recommends to optimize efficiencies.

CJ is a local buy-and-hold real estate investor as well as a professional in the Information Technology sector. Like anything in this world, there are typically trade-off's that are made with technology between time and money. CJ will identify some of the tradeoffs he has made while also highlighting how he revisits processes to make sure that things continue to operate as smoothly and efficiently as possible.

Drawing on his professional experience, CJ will chart a number of parallels between the Software Development Life Cycle and how processes in Information Technology help impact real estate decisions.

If you love technology and want to grow in your real estate business, you'll want to be early and grab a seat at Pizza Cottage at the corner of Ety Road / West Fair Ave Lancaster, Ohio.

@Brandon Sturgill I must say I love that!  Perfect rebuttal.  I believe you and I would likely agree on many things regarding business.

@Rhandell Mitchell this is quite hilarious.  Take @Robert Ellis advice about doing your own homework.  @Brandon Sturgill I'm sure means well but he is a real estate broker and agent.  Hence, by default, the wholesaler is his competition.  Unfortunately, he has used fear tactics and slammed Vena Cox-Jones unduly.  How dare Vena earn money for teaching people her expertise.  I have not personally bought her courses but I have heard her speak on several occasions as well as read a few of her books.  She is a wealth of knowledge and deserves to be paid for what she is willing to teach the investor community.

Wholesaling is a viable and legitimate way to earn money.  Its not easy and you certainly need to be careful about what you say and how you go about it - especially if you get your real estate agent license.  I love wholesalers and wish there were more good ones around to bring me deals!
