Hi @Alfred Clarke Jr, welcome to BP. I am interested in buy and hold investing in Philly, but I have been in this area for my whole life and would be happy to answer any questions you have that I can!

I agree with @Ryan Cameron, and like @Jon Sanborn, I also graduated from Temple.

I guess my question is how north do you plan on traveling? Temple Hospital is about 2 miles from the main campus and is surrounded by a less desirable area, however, I did know people who lived there just because they were studying at the hospital.

Given the development of the more southern end of campus, I think the goal is to continue down Broad street as apposed to further up. But I did know student who lived as far up as Broad and Dauphin.
