@Dallin D. Hutchinson Thanks for your reply Dallin! This is great advice. We're looking for small multi-families, but I haven't really gone through the process of narrowing down where I want to invest. I'm from Cedar City and spend quite a bit of time there because my family is all there still. I know the neighborhoods there better.  We rent our townhome there and that has gone so well for us.  The real estate there is cheaper and so I'm drawn to investing there, but I also feel a little uncomfortable trying to manage from afar. Our current tenants have made it really easy for us, but I know that won't always be the case. 

Thanks Heston for your reply! How have you liked being an agent so far? Has it been beneficial as far as getting your own deals? I've sometimes wondered if it would be worth it to get my license.

Thanks Brandon! We are looking to buy and hold. Most likely using the BRRRR strategy. Looking for duplex or fourplex. As for area, still not sure. Close would be nice, but cash flow is more important.

Hi. I'm Krystal. This is my first post. I've been on Bigger Pockets for a while, just soaking in all the awesome info available. I participated in the Webinar that Brandon Turner put on the other day, and now I'm totally fired up! Feeling super motivated to get my first deal by the end of the year! I live in Salt Lake City, Utah area. Anyone have a great Realtor they would recommend in the area?  

Ok and here is an unimportant thing that has been bothering me. Sometimes my profile picture appears the right way, and sometimes upside-down. Anyone else?
