By 'fix and hold' do you mean, you buy a property, remodel it and then rent it out? That seems like a good strategy, one I have been contemplating.

I am just starting out and looking to join 1 - 3 REIAs in Northern California (Silicon Valley, Santa Clara, San Jose, Mountain View, Redwood City, Palo Alto) etc.

Have you been a meet up from one of them and found useful information? Are you a member of one of them?

I am googling and collecting information, but I thought to post here also to get some good 'intel'
