I had tenants on a month to month lease yesterday I caught them moving out without notice. They said they would be gone today .  I went by and there are things still there with front the unlocked. Noone is there and the won't answer calls or texts to verify they are done moving.  How should I go about changing the locks and getting the house ready to rerent? 

Can I just do it or is there a legal procedure?

I got a reply from someone that states : Is your current heating system steam or hot water? If it is steam which it may very well be since its oil fired, you can not convert this boiler, as gas does not burn as hot, as oil, and boilers are manufactured way different depending on the energy source. I do not suggest you convert, trying to save money now will hurt you, any licensed plumber who will do this is a joke and is endangering you and anyone in that house, the venting of an oil fired boiler to gas fired boiler is different as well. If its steam you will have to replace all radiators as they are not the same.

Do you remember which gas gun conversion kit you purchased? Im looking into doing it too but with it being gas I was kinda nervous.

Im looking into getting an oil boiler (9-10yrs old) converted to a gas boiler. I have more of the details in this add I ran on CL to get some inquiries. But does anyone have a ballpark idea what this cost. I already have gas line right next to the boiler that supplies the water heater. Is there a program out there to appoximate the cost of rehabbing a home. For example like put in the measurements of the home and what your looking to have done and get some kinda ball park price?
