@Account Closed He is a franchise owner so he is just helping me along and he is out of town until mid July and I don't want to wait that long if I do not need to.

Hello all,

I am in a predicament and I need to give a back ground story. I recently quit my job in pursuit of becoming a real estate investor, I have a mentor who recommended I study up on the subject and I have read 7 books on different aspects of commercial real estate investing and have written 50+ pages of notes on the subject for referencing specifically in large Multi-Family's. I feel as if I have the basics down enough to start acting on my new knowledge. Here are some options I have come up with and would love all of your constructive criticism and help.

1) Assemble a team of agents, brokers, attorneys, contractors, etc.  then During my next meeting with my mentor, show him viable properties that are 12-20 units in size and get the ball rolling on a good investment deal. (Some guidance on what I think would be good investments I'd post on here and see what you guys think)

2) Contact really big and successful real estate investors, and explain my goals and why I could be the man for the job to help them find properties their way while learning their process for replication on my own. Since I have 0 obligations, can travel anywhere and talk to anyone, work 24 hours a day if needed.

PS. Of course there are a million steps in between that need acknowledgment that we all know. But I just need help with a direction from here.

So I am about 99.9% sure I don't know poo about real estate, Yet. I do know some of the key lingo and a little bit about the different types of investing, but I am trying to learn as much as possible so when the day comes to invest I want fall on my face, at least not immediately... I am currently reading Rich Dad Poor Dad, and he discusses the four things necessary to improve financial intelligence: 1: Accounting 2: Investing 3: Understanding Markets 4: The Law (laws of real estate and tax benefit methods/strategies) What I would love to get out of this post are some sources about those four topics to best introduce and learn these ideas. If you have personal advice or knowledge on these topics comment or even message me and we can chat and learn together. Thanks for reading 😊 Cheers, Kody

I am new to real estate but since I was a kid I have been crazy about the art of making money and how self made million and billionaires got to where they are. I started reading things on how to be more successful and how to focus my mind on my passions and start chasing these dreams, and that has led me to create a plan to start chipping away at making it to the top. It took me a while to find a place I can start to network from and I am eager to have found this platform. If you are looking for someone to do any errands or chores or the tedious work you don't need or are interested in coffee breakfast or lunch. I would love to do everything in my power to be of use to you and benefit you as much as possible with the hope of learning how the systems of real estate work.
