I myself have not but worked along side a few that have. Generally you just need a contact with someone in the group of a hedge fund, manager or something other, The ones I was a around were connected to their attorney and legal side, they normally do not need extra people cause they already have everything they need, contacts and such lined up, but they are not adverse to seeing what others have. They do look for big deals depending on what their focus, they look for exclusivity and unique deals. But that is just what I seen while I was around them.

Was wondering if anyone has had any experience with Trading houses.
Can just say someone in Indiana wants a house is Texas and a Texas guy wants a place in Indiana, and just traded deeds. Trade a good house for a rehab that someone wants to make money on, cars for a house, house for cars, etc... Anyone deal with this before? Was thinking of doing some of that Next Year.

yea thats what I and well just about anyone else I would talk to would say. How is it illegal to add/build your buyers list.

Nope, not more, it was said that, if you advertise for buyers, "buyers wanted", "Investors Needed". Any of that good stuff that its sole intent is to build your buyers list... is illegal lol.

The thing that seems to be the illegal thing to do, is to get a persons(supposed buyer) and add them to your documents, file, rolodex.. "List". lol, is BS and sounds a lot like BS when I heard it but is a fun subject to talk about and I wanted to see how many others have heard of this.

Lol, it may seem like a dumb questions but it is not really me asking if it is illegal it is if anyone else has been told that building your buyers list, something that new people do to get into real estate, is illegal...What do you think of this? I know it cant be illegal otherwise I myself and a lot of others would be getting served by now lol, but I had someone tell me that they heard that building your investors list is illegal, through one person so I thought it was just from that one then someone else asked me about it... I was just wanting to know if anyone else has heard of this dumb rumor and just for fun.. what do you think if it was illegal?
