Hey there !

I just came upon a lead generation site AgentPronto.com

As per the site owners, their business model is to generate home buyer leads and forward them to 3 area specialist Realtor to work on.

But seems, the site or the business is not operational now!

Do you think it is a case specific failure or a business model like this can never work in the US real estate market.

What my fellow forum members think should the site owners have done to make this model a success.

Thanks.

Mark S.

p.s. do visit www.AgentPronto.com to get an idea on what we are discussing here.

Thanks Jon & Jake for your inputs !

Is there any other way where we can receive the referral fees legally ?

We are talking about a cut from the commissions generated and not a pay-per-lead system, so the fees would be different every time a deal closes successfully.

Thanks.

Hello Guys !

Request a feedback on this post.

Thanks.

Hey !

Is the conventional route of financing (from Banks & financial institutions) available for foreigners purchasing American real estate ?

If yes, then what all steps are involved in getting finance for a real estate deal ?

Thanks..

Hey !

As I have understood till yet, paying referral fees to a non real estate professional is illegal in the USA (in most of the states).

If company (or an individual for the matter) from outside the US would like to form a referral partnership with an agent/broker in the US, would it also be termed illegal?

Then what would be the best way of compensating the international company for the leads it passes to the US agent/broker ?

Thanks..

In my view after the latest Google Penguin update, back links from Article sites don't pull in juice any more.

Which means, Google does not give importance to such back links any more.

It values the content on your site more than anything else. Is your site content useful for visitors? Are visitors spending time on your site or just hitting the back button to Google search results.

Google also takes into account the social discussions about your site or brand. The more share-able your content, the more leg up Google give to that site/page.

Having said all this, it does not hurt to get back links from trusted sources like your local chamber of commerce, your industry associations and partners you work with.

Quality wins over Quantity !

Joomla as a Content Management system is also very successful in the real estate industry.

Although, It is a little more complicated than Wordpress, it offers more features and customization.

Joomla also has a big list of "real estate" extensions (add-ons) making your site more functional.

Being open source, it is free like Wordpress. But you still need to spend for professional Templates and special extensions.

My take would be ZOHO !

As a complete package (with add-ons) you can virtually manage all aspects of your real estate business. Whether is is contact management, lead management, human resource, receivables etc etc..

One however needs some time to learn its workings and customization techniques.

It competes head on with Salesforce and is cheaper too.
