Any updates or issues on using the door lock? We are considering using a simplisafe system with door lock and exterior cameras for our STR that we are building. I haven't seen many posts about using the system as a door lock so I would love to hear any updates on of the system is still working well for you!

I'm trying to figure this out as well, similar situation. My husband and I bought land together and will be putting a home on it that we intend to use as a short term rental. I want to do sole proprietorship since I will be managing everything but wasn't sure if that was possible with his name on the land as well. Did you ever figure out an answer?

 Hi, no I haven't but I would love some suggestions! We are building a shipping container home. The containers will arrive pre-cut for windows/doors but the inside will need to be finished from framing/insulation to ready to use! 

Hi! I've lived in the Frederick area the last 3 years. If you are looking to STR house hack, your best bet will be downtown Frederick by the canal, shops, and restaurants. If you were going to do a long term tenant you could go anywhere in the Frederick area. I just don't see as much draw for weekenders to Urbana or Walkersville. (nothing wrong with those areas just not for STR)

I'm looking at a property in Gettysburg right now but it needs a bit of work.
