Thoughts on Deep Creek Lake, MD

Hi all, I have started looking into purchasing a STR property in Deep Creek Lake, MD. I have did some initial research and it looks like the area could be a good area for extended rental periods with the lake for the warmer months and the ski slopes for the colder months. I just wanted to see if anyone currently operates a STR in that area and has any insights on your experience. Thanks in advance for any input.
