I recently started using YNAB and so far I absolutely love it! I use it for personal finance but I also use it to track/categorize the funds in my Real Estate checking account.

I use ACV policies with Shelter Insurance and they are extremely reasonable.

Interesting, right at the bottom of the Personal Loan application page it says:

So I was thinking we can't use the Personal Loan product for rentals, but I always wondered 'how would they know'. :)  I guess there is a risk, if they find out, maybe they could call the loan due?

@Nikki Grizzlecan you speak more about how you utilized SoFi?  Did you use their Mortgage product to purchase an investment property, or did you use their Person Loan product?

@Sid Bergstresser I backed out of the deal for a variety of reasons and went in a different direction with my real estate investing.

@Wayne Brooks actually you're right, just poured through the addendum, and they do have an out clause due to the title issue.  Then I guess the question becomes, why are they asking me to request a cancellation, why don't they just terminate since it appears they legally can...

Thanks @Jill Schuster, good information.  This being a bank (with deep pockets) does make this tricky.  Contract was standard Oregon form, with the bank's contract amended to it, but it seems even their own contract doesn't allow them to back out.
