GW - Thanks for the link - but it is not the right time, just yet...long story...but thanks for looking out - it does seem like a good opportunity...on Whitehall - not too terribly bad a location (I have a SFR very close to that one)....

Let's see - How did I get my props?? One was my first home after college - Can't wait to sell it (I have a buyer - but again - personal reasons) - too much emotional baggage - it's only a property for God's sake... the other 2 I got from a local real estate bankruptcy auction of a bunch of properties...been working out ok....

Thanks - Chat more soon...

This wouldn't happen to be Centric Bank, would it??

I know a lot of those names on the Board as well...or were you able to deal with another local Bank (maybe even Integrity?)

Just curious....Thanks - Ken

1. Did you just paint the existing closet & bedroom doors, or replace??
2. VERY nice job on the tile by the entry way...
3. Also - great job keeping the built in book case.....
4. Gotta love those 70's colors, right??
5. Did you also just laminate floor the kitchen, or rip it down to the subfloor??
6. - also - what happened to the pantry - or whatever the door by the back of the kitchen led to - before - there was a door - now - there is a wall??

Overall - WONDERFUL job...!!!

Thanks - Ken

Good call Christian - I will be getting into multi unit properties - and that sounds like a great idea !! Even if tenants screw them up - you just pick up some more & replace them - very easy maintenance....PS - Are they glued down or tacked down - I figured the tacks are probably easier??

I have a question out there - I need a way to "think outside the box", and continue to buy properties...Here's my situation - I currently have a few properties that I purchased while married. I moved out about 1.5 years ago (into one of my rentals, actually)...I have had to turn down a few deals because, since I am still technically married, my soon to be ex would automatically be entitled to half of the property....I don't want to live in my rental anymore, but I don't want half the value of a nice house to go to her (I also would like to but more units) - Is there a way that I can purchase property before the divorce/settlement is final without having to give her half?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated - PS - I'm in Harrisburg, PA...Thanks again - Ken

This seems to be a very active - and extremely informational - place...Thanks for the welcome....and I'm hoping I get out of this with a credit score still above 700....especially with the lending industry going the way that it is....One follow up question - how do you find a GC (or other repair man) who is willing to do small jobs - I have a few places which could use small jobs (e.g. installing one window, some trim, hanging ceiling fans, replacing door frames, minor electric work, etc, etc, etc)...but everyone wants large remodel jobs - not the small stuff....Help!

Thanks - K
