Hey Terrell,

What is it you use Dropbox for? And is Cozy useful in any other ways besides the option for online rent payment?

@Hui Li

The 2 that I am aware of in the area is The Landlord’s Almanac and REX (Real Estate Exchange). They are both out in Anchorage.

The next TLA is being held at The Megan Center 12/19/19 @ 6:30PM on the subject of Evictions.

The next REX is 12/16/19 at the BP Energy Center at 6:30PM.

You can search them both up on Facebook or Meetup.com to get more info.

Hope you can make it to one of these and looking forward to meeting you.

@Dennis M.

Exactly my thoughts. If it’s not making me money or paying itself off, than it’s a pass.

Hey man! I'm a local investor here in Wasilla, hit me up sometime. I love the mindset already, keep it up. I would recommend Bigger Pockets as a resource to get you in the right direction. Also, as @Keenan Fitzpatrick has mentioned, the Landlords Almanac events, hosted in Anchorage, once a month is a very good place to learn the ropes of managing properties.

Alaska's market as a whole has seen better times according to the Department of Labor, but I believe you can still make it work with the right criteria.

Primarily, I've heard about BRRRR being done with hard money. Is there a downside on doing this with traditional bank financing? How about seller financing?

I've just found a 6 plex apartment that is ideal for owner financing. Was wondering if anyone can pass on some points and tips on how to propose the best offer?

@Josiah Patrick Zebarth

Great books. Rich Dad Poor Dad is another “bible” for real estate investing, it got me into this industry.
