I am looking for new markets (that hoping I can either drive or fly from NY) where I can legally do rental airbitradge …rent long term to place on Airbnb. What cities are people doing this on? And what type of returns are you seeing if you care to share ? I want to choose 1 or 2 markets since NY is ilegal to do Airbnb.

@Pauline Jones my name is Iris (Ken’s wife) wanted to see what are you doing now that NY banned it. I want to have at least 4 in 1 area driving distance from NY. Care to share locations where you would invest. ? Near ny.

Airbnb is illegal in NYC. And when you can do it it’s just 1 apt you gotta live there etc

I heard CT what areas there or what other markers can one do arbitradge and driving distance ?

I am also open to move at this point. I have a house in the poconos.

@Michael Plaks thank you so much. I am not sure if local is better or the pros and con. Mainly I figure they need to have done NY or PA taxes. Again not sure but really love your proactivity and hope to connect to find a new one CPA.

@Alicia Marks. 1) bought a house lakefront 30k under asking thanks to the Covid saw that my neighbor was renting every day and so bought a cabin one for 107k before it hit the market through my realtor whls 1st buyer got cold feet because the rental was not doing well …..I added my flair. Renovated it and got professional Picts Lived in it for 2 weeks to find out what’s good in the house and it had made me 3x the amount i thought. 82k this is in year 1 and do the house will Pay itself in 1.5 year. Insane. Doing this again now.

Right location; right type of house and matching it with the right customer (this is the key to the high ROI). I am a professional at improving the right things st the right price. Will be renovating the lake house and 1 more by next year.

I am in contract for a house and have 1 Airbnb already where I want to add hand drawn maps of the house so they know the map on how they house is set up. Agents use that when selling the house.

I also want one map creating the location of the house and where all things they Can do relatively to the house. Within a few miles radios.

Hi there is a shortage in the poconos of contractors. Does anyone know a good one or a location in NJ or near PA (driving from NY) where I can pick up 2-3 day workers.

I have my local day workers from Bensonhurst in Brooklyn. So if I can’t fond closer I will get it from there. But makes it easier for me if they are closer.

Ideally the work will be for2-3 people for 2-3 weeks worth of work. ?
