I am getting close to closing on my first rental property! It has a small shed in the back yard.  I was wondering if I should insure this or not.

He Serena,

There is a monthly BP meet up in LA. If you set up a keyword alert for it you will get a notification. Welcome to the site, and hope to see you at the meetings.

@Account Closed I knew that Chrysler was a big employer in town, and that they just invested a lot of capitol in their transmission facility.  Thanks for the insight.

HI @Yohannes Kifle, I am just getting started in my REI adventure. BP is an invaluable resource. Use it for all it is worth, and you will go places.

I am taking trip to Indiana to look at my first rental property.  I have contacted a few people in Indianapolis, and look forward to meeting with them.  I am also interested in Kokomo.  Does anyone know a good property management company or RE agent in Kokomo that works well with investors?

Thanks in advance for your help,

Ken

I am going to try to make it.  I am going to the Memphis Invest event in the OC that morning, but if @Chris Clothier can make it I guess I can too.
