I bought a home with FHA loan and then I purchased a home with VA 4 years later with no problem at all. But I have a question on what if it's the other way around? I am thinking about refi my FHA into conv loan (or other loan) and use FHA (maybe 203k) again for a multi fam (live in one unit). But I don't know if VA would allow me to do so. Would anyone have any idea?

Hi, Anthony.

It's funny I am an OEF vet too and bought a house in Fayetteville recently using VA. It's a SFR. I started looking for MFR but I can't find any in Fayette on the free websites (zillow, trulia..) . Maybe an agent or wholesaller will know some in the area.

Hello BP. I just purchased my second home after owning my first home for 4 years. I am in the process of renovating my first house so I can rent it out. I am very excited to join BP and learn as much as I can. My first loan is FHA and second one is VA, so for my next rental property I'll need a lot of help because it will be my first investment property instead of primary residence. My renovation should be finished in a week and we'll see how this renting business goes.
