We are buying a house to fix and flip. Is there a way to test the whole house for gas leaks once we are done.  I do not want to go the DIY route but would like to have a professional plumber do the same and document it . What are my options and what should I ask when i am talking to the plumber . 

There are no gas leaks that I smell but would like to get a professional opinion and doucument it

Is this case even when it is in a R1 zone ( two family ) both my neighbours left and right are 2 family and this was house was a 2 family and the owner converted it into 1 family . 

I thought if it is zoned for a 2 family then applying for permits alone will suffice .

I am working on a property in bayonne and need to convert it from a 1 family to 2 family . Any recommendations for architects /attorneys /gc's that you are aware of that could help me with  the process
