Should I dive in and start with direct mailers?  Bandit signs?  It's this amount enough to start seeing results quickly?  I need some direction!

Right now I'm D4D but would like to add another lead source.  Does anyone go after home owners who have owned their homes for a long time?  I was thinking about targeting home owners who last purchased before 1970.  Am I on the right track or does every other wholesaler do this to?

The past month or so I've been driving for dollars and have a list of about 500 properties thus far.  I plan on amassing 5,000 leads and mailing each lead over and over again every 3 months.  Is 5,000 too small of a number?  When should I expect to start seeing results?  Should I not mail these leads consistently and instead mail to new and more prospects?  Need some advice on this.  Also, my budget is about $2k every month but I could go higher - not sure if I should though.  Thanks!
