Zackery, Sorry I forgot about the meetup.  We decided to hunker down for the weekend thanks to Corona.

Hi Zackery,  I'm all for starting a south towns group, but Louie's Texas Red Hots at 8:00 in the morning?  How about Tim Horton's across the street?

Thanks Nathan.

Hi, I use Buildium and want to avoid using a spreadsheet to track things like "What keys slots do I use for this property?", "Does this property get lawn care?", "Does the property get snow plowing?".  These are pieces of information I would use to print a list of properties with various selection criteria and sort orders.  Some database products allow you to define fields that you can use for reporting criteria.  Does anyone do this with Buildium?  Are there any other database oriented folks out there that have solved this problem? Thanks.

Thanks for all the additional information.  Really good to know.

I just found out this is not legal in NY.  I don't know if it's legal anywhere in U.S.  I am one of two final bids for a house and I wrote a note for my agent to give the seller through their agent.  My agent said that is illegal and she could lose her license for sending it.  Sending a letter is a tip I have read/heard on BP, but my agent said the law against it was passed a few years ago.

Hi Kerry, I suggest listening to all the podcasts and attending a few of Brandon Turner's weekly webinars.  Then practice running deals through the calculators.  There is a wealth of information available.

Hi Christopher,

Google WNYREI.  It is a group that meets at Protocol restaurant in Williamsville.  See you there!

Regular meetings are at the Holiday Inn. The Dec social is, I believe, at Santoras 3440 Transit Rd, Depew, NY 14043 beginning 5:30 p.m.  They are not great about updating the website.  I asked them to update the "next meeting" info.

Hi Alex, there is a western New York REI group. http://www.wnyrei.com/ Next meeting is December 7th. It is a social event, but most meetings have a speaker. If you get together with Jacob, please let me know. Best of luck!
