Great ideas, guys! @Shaun Riley, that's disappointing to hear that the appraisal district does not get updated. I always check it against my mailing lists. I always make any changes that do not match the appraisal district. I may be wasting my time!

We have found a couple of vacant houses and when we look them up on the appraisal district website, it classifies them as vacant, but the mailing address for the owner is the same as the property address. Anyone know what this means? Owner picking up mail at this property or maybe the new mailing address has not been posted? One of the houses is burned out so I know no one is living in that one.

We had a great meeting tonight. Thank you, Mitch Stephens for all the great info you shared. A big bonus for everyone tonight when Scott Horn showed up. How often do you get two super stars in the Sub 2 arena together sharing their wisdom! It was a great opportunity for all the investors from Dallas, Fort Worth and surrounding areas that attended.

@Jon Klaus Lunch time is a good idea. We can change it to a weekday lunch...maybe Wednesday to break up the week. @Carlos Flores weekdays would work. Both of you come tonight and then we will talk about better days for the next ones.

For any of you that may be on the fence about coming to the DFW BiggerPockets meeting tonight in Irving, TX, just wanted to remind you that everyone that comes will get a list of all attendees contact info. A great way to build your buyer's/wholesaler's list.

Also, we will give you a chance to stand up and announce any wholesale deals you may have sell or would like to buy. Hard money, private money lenders, etc., are also welcome to stand up and announce what you have to offer. Just another way to enhance the networking for everyone!
