Hey Jerry. Welcome! I'm new here as well but one thing I learned quickly is to read as much as you can, but take action with what you read because trying to learn it all will take away from action time. Get familiar and meet people.

A lot of times, its not about what you know, its who you know.

Thanks for everything Ned! Your hospitality was more than generous.

Congrats Matt! I know it feels great. Experience is the best teacher and I hope you continue with your successes. Instead of taking your family out to eat to celebrate, take them somewhere that you don't normally go, that way the urge to succeed will resonate in that 'random trip after the first check' feeling.

Hey fellow DMV'ers,

The BWI meetup in Columbia, Maryland for Wednesday June 12 was cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances , but there may be a few of us that would still like to meet tomorrow. I know I would. Any suggestions?

MD, baltimore, dc, va, virginia <--- keywords ;-)

@ned carey (apparently mentions don't work on the mobile version.) i would love to get together and meet. I was going to post an offer to meet tomorrow anyway b/c this is the second meet I was not able to attend for one reason or another. I work in Annapolis, so thats the direction I'll be coming from. Anytime works for me, but I prefer earlier.

In response to Aaron Mazzrillo, how do you 'remind' people of your business when you are not present without business cards? Can you explain why you feel they are a waste of money? I am sincerely curious.

Nicole Dunlap, I don't have much experience, but it reads like the stepmother does not see the motivation she needs to see because she thinks she is set much like Brian P. said. Your job is to show them, and especially her, that the time is now and they either take your offer or fend for themselves, because honestly depending on how close to foreclosure they are, that may be the case. If you ever watch Gordon Ramsey on kitchen nightmares, sometimes he is lax if the owners already see the motivations, but when they don't he MAKES them see it whether they like it or not. You don't have to be so harsh like he is, but stern is definitely the way to go.

Great script btw Brian.
