Hello @Deniz Cengiz,

Welcome to the BP community. I can relate your story to mine, just the scenario in my case is a bit different. I like your conviction, confidence, and determination in your opening paragraph! Keep it that way, as the REI road is a rough one, just like any other biz. I am also a big user of technology for business. Have you used Podio?

Same like you, married with 3 kids, also looking to work with a mentor/coach.

Since programming is your hobby I cshare some ideas for the RE industry. Anything you need in Dallas TX please feel free to call, text, or email me anytime.

Hello @David Chapman

Welcome to BP. It's a small world, I live in Richardson, basically Dallas TX. Good to know that your wife is a designer and familiar with GC work. I've done RE investing overseas, and am back in the RE industry after a 10-year break. Love to sit and chat with you.

Welcome @Kenneth Cook you came to the right forum. I like your goals! Never lose sight of your goals, because it will crystallize by being persistent. REI is not an easy journey but for those that keep up the path the end is very beautiful....freedom to live and do things you always wanted. Remember life's gonna happen but don't lose sight of the end goal, and yours is an excellent one my friend.

Hello BP Members,

It's Kamran Siddiqi new to BP.

About me:

Masters in Microelectronics, worked in the corporate world for 12+ years. Started Oil & Gas Consultancy business with my brother in 2009.

Got to $2M/year by 2012, then life happened in 2014 after being back-stabbed by our partner that took us from Riches to Rag by end of 2015.

Father of 3 beautiful kids & a sweet wife. It's my passion to help people live their dreams. I'm a dream consultant!

My Real Estate Experience:

Have taken real estate course some 10 years ago with A. D. Kessler but never actively closed a deal. Three months ago took the "Fast Track" course offered by Cody Sperber of Clever Investors and have really learnt a lot about RE and marketing. I bought property overseas which are shops rented out in a shopping mall. Bought property in Dubai (UAE).

My RE Goals:

After going from Riches to Rags, I am hoping this industry will bounce me back to higher levels than before! I would like to start with wholesaling and Co-wholesaling, then progress to more creative deal structuring. Now I am interested in coming back to the RE industry after my crash. In the past I pretty much did the traditional buy/sell deal, but not exposed to the creative side of REI.

Initially I am targeting about $10K/month in income so I can fully devote my time in REI.

Currently looking for a Mentor that would guide me through the initial stages of REI. I am open to any and all sorts of arrangements with a mentor.

Hello @John Jimenez,

Hats off to you for serving our country!

You came to the right spot, BP is simply awesome!! I wasn't active here in the BP community but recently I got to know so much about RE Educators out there, which was unbelievable. I saw that you are pursuing a degree in Computer Science, please don't give that up. IT is the wave of the future! I also come from a purely engineering background, but loved REI, so got into it. Especially with the evolving face of the internet, maybe you could one day design a lead generation software that would really help investors.

Awesome folks on this forum! Keep learning RE and keep up with your degree.

@Cody Sperber I had very high hopes of getting some help when I came to attend your CleverSummit 2016. I lost everything this year that I had. We lost our $2M business after being back stabbed by our partner and fighting lawsuits. Lost all credit cards and my credit score. Yes I did purchase the Fast Track for $297 which got me educated a lot (thank you very much for that). I had asked your sales and consultants that called me to please allow me some mentoring because I am really wanting to close at least 1-2 deals to save enough to get to the next level for a proper mentorship. So how do you help genuine people who have really lost everything? I even suggested to your team if you guys want, Clever Investor could share maybe 50% or 75% of the profit from my  deals, but at least hold my hand. Unfortunately your program caters to rich folks only. I had borrowed so much money from relatives and friends as of last year that I just don't have else where to go ask for money. I even spoke to Matt L, and he very politely declined to offer any help or any out-of-the-way help or options based on my situation.
