Hello Cesar. You should be able to go to your county's tax appraiser website and type in the address of your subject property in order to get the necessary info.

I would use your va loan to buy your duplex first, live in one side and rent the other until you are ready to buy another home. You can rent the other side when you move. @Billy Cones is a realtor here in killeen.

Hello BP,

I have a seller who has a foreclosure date of March 3rd. He is owner financing the house, $4000 in the whole but has about $2000 to make a payment. Will this stop the foreclosure process? He says the people who are owner financing to him will not answer. Is there anything I can do this late in the game? I originally wanted the house subject to existing financing a few months back but he was no where to be found until now. I still want the house but never dealt with a seller this close to foreclosure.

you are on the right track Chester. Use one that you like as long as it has necessary info for all parties involved. Just do it. If it is not a good contract the title company will probably just draft a different one for you to use.
